M y aunt has always told me to never leave my feet hanging on the edge of the bed when I slept over at her house. This time I decided not to listen and woke up to her gnawing on my severed right foot.

"Mom dad's hiding, I can't find the rest of him," the little girl yelled. Her mother turned around to see her daughter covered in blood with her husband's head in her little hands.

She's was always screaming in the basement then asking me if I heard her yelling. I always replied that I couldn't because that was the truth, so, today she shoved me down the basement stairs and locked the door.

I tend to take my dogs out early in the morning and late at night for their potty breaks, but, mini potty breaks can happen during the hot seasons since the dogs drink more water and enjoy being outside when the weather is warmer. These weird potty breaks can stem between the hours of 6am-10am and 6 pm-10pm. These hours are because of me being an insomniac and my neighbors letting out their aggressive dogs during certain times of the day. It’s also apparent they have no control over their dogs. These hours are the attempts to avoid unnecessary conflicts with my neighbors because of their annoying canines and having to protect my pooches by any means necessary. The specified time frames matched accordingly to my life and help me function without any delays. My current residence is in a cul-de-sac neighborhood, and because of the houses claustrophobic proximity to each other, I’m very much having buyer’s remorse. “I never understood why humans found eating human flesh to be repulsive,” the man stated while staring gleefully at his guests. “You all seem to have thoroughly enjoyed your meal,” he continued. A deep and lingering silence flooded the room as the guests sat at the dinner table in disbelief. A soft but obnoxious chuckle from a woman sitting two chairs from the man on his right side filled the once silent room. Her chuckle seemed to have infected the rest of the guest causing the room to quickly be congested with the insolent sound. The woman followed with an incredulous tone “Come on Arnold, you don't expect us to believe that you just fed us human meat”. A fellow male guest accompanied her concerns stating “Be realistic Jessie. Arnold wouldn't do such a thing. Doctors can't seem to medically explain why the hair on my head just suddenly stopped growing; they say I'm perfectly healthy. Today as I woke up from my nap, I noticed my husband hiding a Veet bottle behind one of the couch cushions.

I've noticed this tall shadowy figure reflecting off my laptop screen as of late. I'm seeing it right now as I'm typing, and I think it's noticed that I've seen it.

I'm staring at my husband who is lying near my body crying "that he didn't hide my inhaler". I believe him because I can now see what did.
